One Stop Wonder.

Looking for an excellent, high quality, wholesome caterer, perhaps to just pamper you and your loved one, or maybe for a bridal luncheon or your child’s birthday party?  Try Celebrated Cuisine.

Craving some delicious granola?  Try Laura’s Gourmet Granola, found at your local (Arizona-based) Whole Foods. Yummy, and I don’t normally eat granola.

Or looking just to have some fun with your girlfriends or meet some new ones and learn some new skills in the kitchen?  Take a class with Laura Slama at her kitchen in Tempe or through Sweet Basil in Scottsdale.

 Laura Slama, Celebrate Cuisine

About this time last year I took a cooking class at the esteemed Sweet Basil Gourmetware and Cooking School in Scottsdale.  I was fortunate enough to land in Laura Slama’s 12-session Essence of Cooking class.  It was delicious!  I learned an amazing amount and would love to take classes regularly to add to my recipe book (I’m favoring the one-pot wonders…pasta e fagioli, chili, tomato basil soup…).  In the meantime though, I’m happy to have met Laura who is just an extremely talented chef and has a wonderful personality.  One student in the class kept mentioning that she should have her own talk show.

It turns out that Laura is sort of a neighbor of mine, she runs her own catering business, Celebrated Cuisine, in Tempe (across from Someburros…yum.)  She teaches classes there and concocts her delicious gourmet granola which can now be found in select Whole Foods stores, AJ’s, I think at Olive & Ivy’s breakfast counter (I’ll have to check on that one), and other places.  And, I just found an Arizona Republic article on her delicious granola:
